Hi, I’m Jennifer. Welcome to The Grace Narrative. I blogged for the last four years at In the Shadow of Grace, but our life has recently shifted and a new blog seemed appropriate for this new chapter of life.
So what is The Grace Narrative? It is a place where I look to give voice to the numerous instances, both little and big, of God’s grace in my life. Where I work through my faith in Jesus Christ and how that plays out in my days. Where I relate stories of God’s grace and faithfulness to my family. And, hopefully, where you feel comfortable to share your stories of God’s grace in your life.
God has a way of taking us in directions we never dreamed of, and at this time my family has started a new life chapter. Three years ago, my husband stepped down from being a full time pastor to remain home with our sons and I returned to teaching for the first time in five years. We moved back home with our three boys and have enjoyed setting up a new home. I look forward to sharing our stories as we adjust to our new normal.
So, welcome here. I hope that this becomes a place where you can come with a cup of coffee and feel like we are sitting around the kitchen table together, learning to do this life thing together. And if you’re ever nearby, the coffee is always on.
